About Us

We are two youngish people who grew disillusioned with life as we knew it, having tried to conform to the normal way of life in a house and regular jobs. We tried our hands at "the gap year break" running away to the Gambia in West Africa to experience something totally new, having never been there before we just sold up and took what money we had in the hope of finding a better life free of constraints.

Having returned after 12 months broke we resigned ourselves to start over again however it was not to last long! After 7 years and numerous house moves later we started getting itchy feet again and dreamt up new places to visit in the search for our "Eldorado". So we set off one morning in early 2005 having put the house up for sale and packed in our jobs to see what the world had in store for us and our two terriers "willy & barley"

The general idea was to tour the uk in our caravan looking for a new place to call home starting the search in Worcestershire and ending back up were we started 6 months later in a motorhome having sold the house, van ,car and most of our belongings to become "fulltimers". This was to prove a revelation and a turning point in our lives from where we went on to meet many like minded people and made many friends along the way.

Two years  later we are still fulltimers having just recently toured round some of Europe and not having any regrets about choosing this way of life.

We like to travel the world to exotic hot destinations and would one day like to drive overland to Australia in our motorhome but first we have to wait till the two terriers have passed away.

I drive Hgv's for a living in between riding my motorcycle and my favourite pastime beach combing and flying the kite, my other half likes nothing better than to be on a beach somewhere hot reading a book with her feet in the waters edge.
