French Camping Car Aires

Below Are some pictures of  the Aires we have visited on our trips throughout France, there is approximately 1500 Aires with more being added by the French every year all are safe to use if a little busy in the high season. The French Aires can be found in the "french camping car " booklet produced every March and comes with its own map showing the location of the Aires and "municipal site", this book is not to be confused with the other books. Also for those with sat nav systems there is a download of all the Aires for the popular systems-[tom tom, garmin , navman] we have used this extensively and with a few exceptions is great, you can even add your own new found Aires not listed. 

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE MOTORWAY AIRES WHICH ARE OK FOR LUNCH BUT NOT FOR OVERNIGHTING
